About Sonali Manapure – Navathe

I am Sonali Manapure born and bred in Nagpur, India. Growing up, wrote middles and letters to the editor for a local newspaper and thought I might end up being a writer. Didnt happen! Later got into public speaking and amateur theater and thought this is it! But no – the romantic idealism got crushed and I ended up selling space for The Times Group in Mumbai. Took a break from work and life, came to the United States for MS in MIS from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and got a new network of great friends. Thought would be like one of my several IT-geek-friends, but found myself in the Supply Chain Industry working on networks. Moved to Michigan for work, but met my husband Prabhaker and familia right here, and settled down. Looking back, I am still confused at the life graph. Makes me think Someone up there is having variety entertainment on Project Sonali… While someone down here summed it up well:  ”Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans“.
